Two New London men have been arrested after the successful deployment of a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office K9 Deputy.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that a deputy had conducted a traffic stop on I-41 earlier this month for equipment and registration plate violations.
During the stop, reasonable suspicion was established, and K9 BOOM was sent in to conduct a sniff.
K9 BOOM came back with a positive hit, and a search of the vehicle determined he was right.
Roughly 86 grams of cocaine, over $400 in cash, a handgun, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle, leading to charges of Possession With Intent To Deliver Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for both occupants.
The 34-year-old driver remains in custody on a $15,000 cash bond, while the 32-year-old passenger has posted his $2,500 cash bond.
