A local organization will be celebrating Sheboygan businesses this weekend.
The Sheboygan Harbor Centre Business Improvement District (BID) will be holding its 2026 rendition of River Fest on Saturday (September 19th) along the Riverfront Drive Boardwalk.
Kristin Bahr, the Harbor Centre BID Executive Director, spoke to SeehaferNews.com and explained, “River Fest is just a celebration of all the wonderful businesses that are in the Harbor Center business community.”
She also shared some details on one of the event’s main attractions, the live bands set to perform.
“We have two bands that will be playing during the day, and they play right on the boardwalk right next to Parker John’s,” she explained. “We have minor worries that will play at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and then we also have the Buffalo Joe Band.”
The event will also serve as a showcase of businesses within the Harbor Centre BID, which includes parts of 8th Street, the boardwalk, and the South Pier.
Bahr told us, “We have all the local businesses around town set up vendor booths along the boardwalk. So you can enjoy the beautiful fall day and check out all the neat businesses that we have along the boardwalk.”
With this being Bahr’s third River Fest with the BID, she closed by sharing what makes her so excited for the yearly event this time around.
“The mix and the amount of businesses that will be having vendor booths there is definitely different. We have a lot more a lot more businesses that are interested in participating,” Bahr noted.
River Fest is free to attend and will run from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and a complete schedule of events and confirmed vendors for the event can be found by visiting harborcentre.com.
