Multiple Sheboygan County entities joined forces with the Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit to arrest a man and take multiple pounds of drugs off the streets.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, Health and Human Services, and Communications Center, along with the Sheboygan Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Manitowoc County authorities, conducted multiple search warrants, which led to the arrest of a 34-year-old Sheboygan man.
More than four pounds of cocaine, ten pounds of marijuana, and nearly 13 ounces of methamphetamine, along with over $100,000 in cash and numerous firearms, were found in homes in the 1400 block of South 8th Street, 1400 block of Alabama Avenue, 1200 block of North 12th Street, and 1800 block of Superior Avenue.
The suspect, who was reported to have a history of drug and weapons convictions, was arrested on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place within 1,000 Feet of a School.
His name has not been released.
The Sheboygan Police Department said of the arrest, “The Sheboygan County MEG Unit continues to work in partnership with the Manitowoc Metro Drug Unit and other local and federal agencies, alongside community partners and residents, to identify and arrest those involved in drug trafficking and minimize the impact drugs have on our community.”
