Some equipment at the Manitowoc County Recycling Center needs more maintenance.
Operations Manager Jon Reisenbuechler says their truck scale will be down for repairs again, this time on September 18th and 19th.
During that time, the recycling center will not be accepting large loads of tires, commercial brush, or any other item requiring vehicle weights while the scale is offline.
The closure will not affect the sale of compost products, electronics recycling, or other drop-off services that do not involve truck scale weights.
