Republican nominee for Wisconsin governor Tom Tiffany suffered minor injuries after a small plane he was on had to make an emergency landing Saturday night.
Tiffany shared the announcement in a post on X, saying the plane lost power while approaching Wausau Downtown Airport and was forced to land in a lake.
The GOP congressman went on to express his gratitude to first responders and the pilot of the plane, who also suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
