A highly popular short film festival will be screened in Manitowoc later this month.
Over 100,000 film enthusiasts are expected to participate in the 29th Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival, which will also be featured at the Manitowoc Public Library on September 29th and October 1st.
The screenings will be held in the Balkansky Community Room, featuring ten films from ten countries.
MANHATTAN SHORT 2026 screens simultaneously across the world during a one-week period, with the Best Film and Best Actor awards determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating venue.
By virtue of their selection by MANHATTAN SHORT, each short film is automatically Oscar-qualified.
