The Milwaukee Fire Department is honoring the 343 FDNY firefighters who died in the September 11th attacks, as well as firefighters who later died from 9/11-related illnesses.
The department will hold a 25th anniversary memorial at Davidson Park in Milwaukee.
The event is open to the public and will feature 343 helmets and other tributes honoring the fallen.
Community members are invited to stop by throughout the day to pay their respects and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
