Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs appeared in Brown County court Thursday morning.
Jacobs entered a plea of “no contest” to the misdemeanor charges of battery and criminal damage to property.
The charges stem from a May incident in which prosecutors allege Jacobs grabbed a woman and threw her to the ground as she tried to leave his garage.
The court ordered Jacobs to avoid contact with the victim, receive counseling treatment, and pay restitution to the victim.
Jacobs is currently on the NFL Commissioner’s Exempt List, sidelining him before the season opener on Sunday.
