Authorities are identifying the suspect who was shot and killed by Milwaukee police in Glendale.
Police were called to a shots-fired report near 37th Street and Meinecke Avenue on Tuesday.
That led to a police chase before the suspect’s vehicle stopped and one person took off.
Another suspect, Printis Smith, refused commands to get on the ground, and an exchange of gunfire took place.
He was declared dead at the scene, while the officer who opened fire was shot in the leg.
Police say the officer is expected to survive.
