Some communities in eastern Wisconsin will be getting electric vehicle charging stations.
In Manitowoc County, over $910,000 will fund a charger at the Cenex near Highway 10 in Reedsville.
In Sheboygan County, over $627,000 will fund a charger at the Random Lake Motel near Highway 57.
Lastly, over $628,000 will be invested for an electric charging station in Chilton at the Best Western Stanton Inn near Highway 10.
42 Wisconsin communities are receiving a share of $25 million supported by the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program, part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has been awarded $62 million through three rounds of funding to support 120 projects.
