A missing child case in Appleton had a happy conclusion.
The Appleton Police Department first reported 2-year-old Egypt Burgin missing just before 4:00 Wednesday afternoon.
Thanks to help from the public, Egypt was located safely just before 8:30 p.m., and she has been reunited with her family.
No additional details about the case have been released, but it was noted that the initial disappearance did not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert.
These criteria include that an abduction has occurred and that the victim, who must be under the age of 17, is believed to be in imminent danger.
The Appleton Police Department thanked the public for their help in the case.
