
There are three Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (September 9th).
Up first is the Local Emergency Planning Committee, which will be in the Communications and Technology Building at 9:00 this morning. After voting on the 2026 Compliance Officer, the group will discuss hazmat spills and responses.
Then, at 4:00 p.m., the Public Works Committee will gather in the Public Health Building, where they will get the latest on the recycling and solid waste programs and 2026 capital projects.
The Expo Ice Center Division will also give its report on the 2026 Manitowoc County Fair.
Closing out the day will be the Public Safety Committee, which will be in the Communication and Technology Building at 5:00 p.m.
After hearing comments from the public, the group will discuss single-point entry at the courthouse before hearing from Circuit Court Judge Jerilyn Dietz.
