A former teacher in the Fox Valley area has been convicted in a child pornography case.
64-year-old James R. Neujahr returned to Outagamie County court last week for a plea hearing as he faced 20 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Neujahr was found guilty of all 20 counts due to a no contest plea.
The 64-year-old previously pled not guilty to the charges last November.
The investigation into Neujahr, the former band director at Fox Valley Lutheran High School, began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tipped off the Appleton Police Department about some explicit material containing children that had been sent from a computer in the city.
During a search warrant, external hard drives were seized, with investigators noting that they contained around 2,000 sexual images of children.
Neujahr will return to court on November 3rd for his sentencing hearing.
