A canoer is ok after becoming stranded on the Yahara River in Dane County over the weekend.
The DeForest Windsor Fire and EMS Department responded around 8:15 Saturday evening after the individual reported that they had taken their canoe down the river and did not know the way out.
Crews were able to find the person using a drone with a thermal camera and go to them on foot.
They were turned over to EMS to be evaluated.
No serious injuries were reported.
