Eugene L. Miller, age 88, of Reedsville, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Complete Care of Manitowoc.
Eugene was born on August 26, 1938, in Manitowoc County, son of the late Arnold and Margaret (Mohr) Miller. He attended schools locally, graduating from Lincoln High School with the class of 1956. Eugene served in the National Guard from 1956 until his discharge in 1963. On May 10, 1958, he married the former Kay Duckart at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death January 15, 2008. He enjoyed his flowers and yard, fishing, hunting, and taking trips to the casino. Eugene owned and operated E. Miller Tile Company from 1970 until his retirement. He was a past member of Clarks Mills Sportsmen Club.
Eugene is survived by two sons: Mitch Miller, Cato, Monte (Nancy) Miller, Manitowoc; one granddaughter: Katie (Dylan) Temme, Manitowoc; three great-grandchildren: Harper, Hailey, and Hudson; two sisters: Marion Blanchard, Manitowoc, Rita Muench, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arnold and Margaret Miller; his wife: Kay Miller; one daughter: Melanie Miller; one brother: Allen (Nancy) Miller; special friend: Bonnie Stehula; and other relatives.
A celebration of Eugene’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Deacon Al Boeldt will officiate. The family will great relatives and friends at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Military Honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 88. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
