The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is announcing the winners of this year’s hunting stamp design contest.
Artists from all over the state submitted designs for wild turkey, pheasant and waterfowl stamps.
Ritch Miller of Hazelhurst won the waterfowl contest, Sam Timm of Wautoma has the first-place pheasant design and Douglas Schuster of Hatley won in the wild turkey category.
Hunters are required to purchase digital versions of these stamps to take game birds each year.
Collectors can also purchase physical stamps from the Wisconsin DNR.
