The soon-to-be-former executive director of the Capitol Civic Centre is looking back before he leaves next week.
P.J. Albert reflected on his time during an appearance on the WCUB Breakfast Club.
He says he’s truly enjoyed his time in Manitowoc as he gets ready to leave for Sarasota, Florida.
Albert says he remembers coming in to run the CCC during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It was an interesting time to run a public event space,” he admitted. “But we made it through so that was good.”
For Albert, it won’t be hard to move back down to the Sunshine State.
“I was in Orlando before I took the role at the Capitol Civic Centre six years ago,” he explained. “I just happened to work out that we (he and his girlfriend) will be moving back.”
P.J. will be the Managing Director of the Sarasota Opera in Florida.
The CCC’s Board of Directors has named General Manager Melyssa Behnke as Interim Executive Director.
The Capitol Civic Centre has officially opened the position for its next executive director.
