A 4-year-old is uninjured after he was found alone inside a school bus in Washington County.
The child’s mother called Kewaskum police around 5:50 p.m. after realizing the child had not been dropped off.
An officer checking buses at the JSBS facility noticed the emergency flashers were on inside a different bus, and the child was found inside around 6:20 p.m.
Investigators believe the child fell asleep during the route and was accidentally left behind.
The driver was not arrested, but may face a possible child neglect charge.
