Nearly 400 nurses at SSM Health Dean Medical Group in Dane County are set to vote on forming a union.
The nurses filed for an election with the National Labor Relations Board last month, following the successful unionization of nearly 900 nurses at SSM Health’s St. Mary’s hospital earlier this year.
Dean nurses say they’re seeking better staffing, compensation and working conditions, while advocating for higher patient-care standards across the region.
The voting will take place from September 22nd through the 25th.
