
The Milwaukee County Executive wants the sheriff’s office to limit its usage of automated license plate readers.
David Crowley released a statement yesterday calling on MCSO to voluntarily put a cap on how it uses the Flock camera system.
The Democratic nominee for Wisconsin governor issued an executive directive pushing for limits on how the system is used on county property, including access to and the sharing of data.
The move comes after Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson announced major changes to how the police department would use the technology.
