The first of two community workshops with the City of Two Rivers and U.S. EPA starts today.
It’s part of the EPA’s Recreation Economy for Rural Communities (RERC) Program, which provides assistance to help rural communities identify strategies to strengthen their outdoor recreation economy, revitalize downtowns and neighborhoods, improve quality of life, and create new opportunities for economic growth.
The first workshop takes place tonight from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Woodland Dunes Nature Center.
Anyone who can’t make it tonight can attend the second workshop tomorrow (September 2nd) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The EPA says public input is important and encourages residents to attend one or both sessions to get the most from the planning process.
