There is one Manitowoc County governmental meeting scheduled to kick off the month of September.
The Personnel Committee will be in the Admin Building at 4:45 p.m., where the public will be given time to voice comments.
Then, after discussing the appointment of an interim finance manager and the assignment of a temporary jail supervisor, the group will get the latest on the status of the 2027 budget and the 2027 health plan.
The Committee will also talk about human services, health insurance, and recruitment in all county departments before adjourning for the evening.
