Charges have been filed in Manitowoc County against a man accused of sexually assaulting and threatening to kill a child.
25-year-old Donald Pineda-Reyes was given a $20,000 cash bail yesterday (August 31st) by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch.
In Manitowoc County, he has been charged with Intimidating a Victim and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Child. During yesterday’s hearing, it was revealed that Pineda-Reyes started a relationship with a 13-year-old girl and continued to rape the child, however, those sexual encounters did not take place within the county.
Where they occurred was not shared. He is further accused of telling the child “I will cut your head off and bury it”, providing her with THC, cocaine, methamphetamine, and Percocet, and threatening to burn her house down.
While given a cash bail, the 25-year-old is currently on an immigration hold which will keep him in custody regardless of whether that bail is furnished or not.
He will now return to court in Manitowoc County on Monday (September 8th) for his initial appearance in Branch 1.
