The Manitowoc Lincoln football team took the trip north tonight to take on the Ashwaubenon Jaguars.
In a one-sided contest, the Jaguars sunk the Ships by a score of 42-0.
Before kickoff, Lincoln was already playing at a disadvantage after losing their top rusher, Jaquan Foth, and leading tackler Eilas Reed, to injury.
From the jump, Ashwaubenon was in control, who forced a punt on the Ships’ first drive.
The Jaguars would proceed to score three touchdowns on their first three drives, putting the game out of reach in the first quarter.
Throughout the game, the Ships struggled to move the ball on the ground, and quarterback Kieran Hang faced heavy pressure all night.
Through two games this year, Manitowoc Lincoln has been outscored by their opponents 89-0, as they move to 0-2 on the season.
The Ships will next be in action on Friday (September 4th) when they travel to take on Kingston Allen and Notre Dame.
