
It’s a busy day for local high school sports teams.
The Manitowoc Lincoln Shipbuilders open their 2026 boys’ soccer season tonight as they entertain the Hartford Orioles at Rubick Field.
The varsity match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Elsewhere, Roncalli plays at Oostburg, Kiel looks to get off to a 2-0 start as they visit Random Lake/Ozaukee, Sheboygan Falls has a short bus ride to Sheboygan Christian to battle Sheboygan Christian/Lutheran, New Holstein/Brillion looks to improve to 2-0 as they visit St. Mary Catholic, Denmark hosts Green Bay West, Kewaunee travels to Green Bay to play Providence Academy/NEW Lutheran, Algoma hosts Peshtigo and Gibraltar/Sevastopol heads to Sturgeon Bay to battle The Clippers.
There are also several high school cross-country meets on the docket today.
One is at Two Rivers, where the Raiders welcome in a huge field which includes Manitowoc Lutheran, Valders, Mishicot, Howards Grove, Denmark, Plymouth, Kewaunee, Algoma and Southern Door.
Cedar Grove/Belgium, Kohler and Oostburg participate in the Milwaukee River Invitational at Brown Deer.
In girls’ volleyball, Plymouth, Ashwaubenon and Southern Door travel to the Green Bay East Quadrangular, Ozaukee participates in the Omro Quadrangular, and Oostburg hosts a quadrangular meet that includes Cedar Grove/ Belgium.
