
A top elections official in Milwaukee is reportedly responsible for vote counting delays on primary night.
CBS58 reports Milwaukee Election Commission Director Maricha Harris was the person who pushed the wrong button five times that led to the wrong data being downloaded onto USB sticks.
Vote counting in Brew City was delayed as a result.
It’s the third election issue to take place in Milwaukee in as many years, and Director Paulina Gutierrez admittedly described it as “human error.”
State leaders have already called for answers as to what led up to the mistake on election night.
