The Manitowoc Public School District will have a new look entering the 2026-2027 school year.
On top of the massive consolidation efforts, the District announced earlier this year that it would be changing all of the school mascots to be under the Ships banner.
Now, one week before the students head back to class, that transformation is complete.
The District unveiled its new logo yesterday (August 25th), which utilizes the Manitowoc Lincoln High School Ship logo, which the District said is “Familiar. Recognizable. Unmistakably Manitowoc.”
The Ship itself did get a bit of an upgrade, with a slightly shorter design and additional details along the hull.
This change represents the next chapter of the MPSD, and honors “the tradition we know while giving our Ship a fresh look for the future.”
