The Brillion Public School District is congratulating a long-time wrestling coach.
Joe Miller was recently inducted into the George Martin Wrestling Hall of Fame, established in 1977 to recognize individuals who’ve made significant contributions to the sport of wrestling in Wisconsin and beyond.
Miller has numerous accomplishments, including serving as varsity wrestling head coach for 31 years and compiling a 221-125-5 record.
He also had 56 state qualifiers, 3 state champions, 58 individual conference champions, and 2 state-qualifying teams.
Brillion Public Schools says Miller’s influence extends beyond the mat, thanks to the positive, inclusive environment he created for athletes of all skill levels, adding that through his mentorship, Joe “instilled the values of hard work, resilience, and respect in generations of young wrestlers.”
