Registration is officially open for a yearly event aiming to fight hunger in Sheboygan County.
The 9th annual Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk will take place at Evergreen Park on November 21st, and those looking to take part can now sign up to do so.
The event will feature a timed 5K run, costing $25, as well as a one-mile walk, which will cost participants 13 years or older $20.
All proceeds raised during the Holiday Lights Hunger Run/Walk will benefit the Sheboygan County Food Bank.
Aside from the run/walk, attendees will have the chance to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and Christmas cookies and take pictures with Santa, while the first 500 registrants will receive a goodie bag.
Regarding the annual fundraising event, organizers noted, “Whether you run, walk, or volunteer, we hope you’ll join us for another memorable evening under the lights while helping fight hunger in Sheboygan County.”
