The City of Manitowoc is getting a Chick-fil-A, but not where you might expect.
The City’s Plan Commission is meeting at 6:00 tonight in the Council Chambers, where they will review the site plans for the popular national chain, which appears to have purchased the plot of land at 4640 Calumet Avenue.
This land is actually located across the street from the vacant buildings that used to be home to Perkins and Wendy’s, between Verizon and Jiffy Lube (as seen below).
The Plan Commission will also review the site plans for a storage facility at 3031 Menasha Avenue, some parking at the Lakeshore Community Foundation, located at 1005 Memorial Drive, and park expansion at the North 8th Street Kwik Trip.
