The City of Sheboygan Falls has provided an update regarding an ongoing road project.
Construction on Monroe Street will continue through next week, and the City has laid out a timeline so area motorists know what to expect in the coming days.
Today (August 21st), Monroe Street will be milled from Water Street east to the city limits. Then, on Monday and Tuesday (August 24th & 25th), asphalt patches will be installed over city utility infrastructure.
On Wednesday (August 26th), new asphalt will then be installed on the stretch of Monroe Street that is being milled today.
Next Thursday (August 27th), crews will finish up road striping operations along the entire project length before the construction’s expected completion date next Friday (August 28th).
Meanwhile, sidewalks, crosswalks, and curbs will continue to be replaced through Wednesday as well.
Sheboygan Falls Utilities added, “Please use caution in the work zone and allow extra time when traveling through the area. Thank you for your patience as this project continues!”
