A local food bank is in need of canned donations.
The Sheboygan County Food Bank has shared that its shelves could use a boost and that they are currently in need of canned fruit and canned protein donations.
These donations will help stock the Sheboygan County Cares Food Pantry, along with other local food pantry partners.
Those who are willing and able to help out are asked to drop off donations at the Food Bank, located at 3115 North 21st Street, during regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Likewise, any workplace, school, church, or social group is also encouraged to organize a food drive to benefit the Food Bank as well.
Any group interested in hosting a food drive can register to do so by visiting the link provided on the Sheboygan County Food Bank Facebook page.
To close, the Food Bank told donors, “Thank you for helping keep nutritious food available for our neighbors throughout Sheboygan County!”
