Two employees of the DRAMM Corporation, with nearly 50 years of experience between them, have announced their retirements.
General Manager Jeff Bucher will be calling it a career after 23 years with the company, while Shipping Department Supervisor Wendy Ansorge will be “shipping out” after 24 years of service.
When Wendy joined DRAMM in September 2002, the Shipping Department was made up of four employees: Susie, Wendy, Ann, and Tammy.
As DRAMM continued to grow, so did the Shipping Department.
In 2007, Wendy was promoted to Shipping Department Supervisor, overseeing a team that has grown to nine employees.
Wendy said of her retirement, “I’m very grateful for my time here and for all the people I’ve had the opportunity to work with over the years.”
As for Jeff, his career with DRAMM began in September 2003 when the company employed 55 people.
Now he is overseeing 90 employees and helps ensure DRAMM maintains its commitment to teamwork and providing quality products and solutions to customers.
He thanked the Dramm family for “the trust and freedom they gave me to lead. That trust allowed me, along with an exceptional team, to focus on what mattered most: continuous improvement.”
Both Bucher and Ansorge’s last day will be on August 27th.
