A Sheboygan man is heading to prison for numerous crimes, including the sexual assault of a child.
28-year-old Spencer J. Husak was back in court on Monday (August 17th) for a sentencing hearing in two separate cases.
At that hearing, Husak was found guilty of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and ordered by Judge Rebecca Persick to spend 18 years behind bars, followed by 15 years on extended supervision.
Earlier this month, a jury also found Husak guilty of Intentionally Failing to Provide Food for an Animal and Mistreatment of Animals Causing Death.
For these charges, the 28-year-old was sentenced to an additional two years and three months in prison, which will be tacked on as a consecutive prison term in addition to his 18 years behind bars.
He was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
Court documents reveal that Husak sexually assaulted a Sheboygan County minor in 2019, while his actions that led to the death of an animal occurred sometime in 2024.
