There is a new place for moms to stay active in Manitowoc.
FIT4MOM is for mothers who want to get out of the house and get active with their children.
Ellie Bode is the owner of the new Manitowoc location, and she is excited to see all these moms together.
“I hope to see them regularly at classes,” she said with a smile. “The more we get together, the more we get to know each other and build that strong community.”
FIT4MOM started in 2001 with one woman who wanted to exercise with other moms and their kids, and since then has grown to have over 1,800 locations and 250 franchises nationwide.
As the owner of this new location, Bode wants to get to know local moms, schedule field trips, play dates, moms’ night out, and be involved in community service projects.
She really wants to build a community with the local moms.
“I hope that every mom that comes to class ends up feeling stronger, more connected, and supported than when she first came,” she noted.
FIT4MOM has classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:30 am at Citizens Park.
These classes are one hour long, and after the first class, registration is required.
