New signs are being installed around Neshotah Park in Two Rivers.
Signs Plus explains on their Facebook page that they are doing groundwork and marking locations for where the new signs will go in the park.
Equipment will be used to prepare the concrete foundations before the signposts are installed.
The contractor adds that the Neshotah Park sign project will bring a “complete, coordinated wayfinding system to the park, including new gateway signage, vehicle and parking signs, orientation kiosks, pedestrian directional signs, and trail information posts.”
The Two Rivers City Council voted 7-1 at the beginning of July for the $56,000 project to install signs along Zlatnik Drive and other areas of the park.
The types of signs include two gateway signs, seven directional and parking signs, ten pedestrian direction signs, six trail information signs, and others.
