The second of two men who kidnapped a girl in Two Rivers has been sentenced.
34-year-old Pedro Giron Perez appeared before Judge Jerilyn Dietz yesterday, where he was ordered to spend a year and a half in prison followed by two years on extended supervision.
His co-conspirator, 23-year-old Alexcer Solis Gomez, was previously found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Abduction of a Child as Party to the Crime, and was ordered by Judge Dietz to spend four years in prison followed by 10 years on extended supervision.
The duo had picked up a 16-year-old girl in Two Rivers under the guise of taking her to her boyfriend’s place in Utah.
However, prosecutors say the duo assaulted the victim in Iowa and that this was part of a larger human trafficking operation.
Both the men and the teen were later found in Wyoming and brought back to Wisconsin.
