The Oshkosh Police Department is looking for a man who is believed to have robbed a pizza restaurant shortly after it was devastated by a fire.
Players Pizza and Pub caught fire late last Wednesday evening, and on Friday, the Oshkosh Police Department asked the public to help identify a man who had robbed the store at 556 West 5th Avenue.
The burglary was said to have occurred between 4:00 and 5:40 last Friday morning.
The suspect has now been identified as 35-year-old Darius Shields, who is from Georgia.
Investigators noted, “There is a possibility that Darius is trying to leave Wisconsin and return to Georgia.”
Anyone who sees Shields is encouraged to contact law enforcement immediately.
