There are two meetings on the calendar for today (August 17th) in the City of Manitowoc.
Up first is the Library Board’s Finance Committee, which will convene in the Library Board Room at 2:00 p.m. with one item on the agenda.
They will begin discussions on the 2027 budget, which includes a proposed reorganized structure.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., the Common Council will convene in the Council Chambers, where the City Clerk will administer the oaths of office for Fire Lieutenant Phillip Stodola and Motor Pump Operator Tyler Fischer.
The Council will then issue a commendation to WOMT Radio for its 100th anniversary, and officially dedicate the Jim Brey Conference Room.
The Council will then review an amendment to the 2026 Sanitary Sewer Master Plan, a request to fund storm sewer repair on the easement at Waldo Boulevard and Fleetwood Drive, and the Ambulance service agreement between the Fire Rescue Department and Roncalli and Manitowoc Lincoln High Schools.
Meanwhile, the City Council meeting in the City of Two Rivers has been canceled.
