A check presentation ceremony was recently held by the members of the Maritime Marathon.
At this ceremony, the proceeds from this year’s race were distributed to nine local non-profit organizations that provide staff at the aid station on race day.
Maritime Marathon started doing its yearly races back in 2012, and since then they have given back over $250,000 to its community through non-profits.
