
Two weeks of training camps plus scrimmages are behind high school football teams in Wisconsin and it’s time to strap the chinstraps for real as the 2026 high school football season begins next Thursday night (August 20th).
Roncalli and Reedsville participated in a five-school scrimmage on Thursday (August 13th) at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh.
Manitowoc Lutheran and Two Rivers hosted scrimmages on Friday morning. Scrimmages held Friday afternoon included Manitowoc Lincoln at Green Bay Southwest, Valders scrimmaged at Hilbert, Brillion entertained Mishicot, Coleman and Shiocton, while Kiel hosted a multi-school scrimmage.
Season openers on Thursday night include Manitowoc Lincoln hosting De Pere, Brillion entertains Sturgeon Bay, Mishicot visits Oconto, Chilton heads to Crivitz, Bay Port plays at Middelton, and defending Division Two champion West De Pere is at Sun Prairie East.
Friday night openers have Manitowoc Lutheran at Roncalli, Two Rivers travels to Marinette, Howards Grove hosts Valders, Reedsville travels to Kohler to meet Kohler/ Sheboygan Lutheran/ Christian, Kiel is at Lake Country Lutheran, Sheboygan Falls entertains Oostburg, Sheboygan North is at Port Washington, Green Bay Southwest hosts Sheboygan South, Kewaunee is in Appleton North to battle Fox Valley Lutheran and Denmark opens in New London to battle the Bulldogs.
Our broadcast schedule for week one on Seehafer Broadcasting has Manitowoc Lincoln hosting De Pere Thursday night, and on Friday night, Manitowoc Lutheran is at Roncalli.
Both games air on “WOMT 100” with coverage beginning at 6:45 p.m.
