The operational duties for Manitowoc’s Winter Farmer’s Market are changing hands.
Grow it Forward, which has traditionally run the market, has announced that Visit Manitowoc will be taking over starting with the 2026-2027 season.
Visit Manitowoc already took over the operating role for the summer market, so this brings both farmers’ markets under the same operational umbrella, which Grow it Forward says will create “greater continuity for vendors, shoppers, and food-access programming throughout the year.”
Grow it Forward CEO Amber Daugs also noted that she sees this move as “expanding our mission by building the capacity for others to carry this work forward.”
She also added, “We look forward to supporting its next chapter and continuing to find ways our organizations can work together to make good food more accessible throughout our community.”
