Another area community has made its voice heard on the AI data center discussion.
Voters in Wrightstown took to the polls yesterday not only to vote for gubernatorial candidates, but they also had a referendum on the ballot.
This question asked if the Village should support or facilitate municipal infrastructure for large data center developments that would be located in the village or affect the village.
The answer was loud and clear.
1,033 people voted no, while 151 said yes.
Village officials still have to craft an official resolution to make it official, and in doing so, would join Manitowoc County and the Village of Mishicot among many others.
