Three people are accused of stealing copper from a Milwaukee school destroyed by fire.
The trio was expected to make their first appearances in court yesterday for the alleged burglary at Lincoln Elementary School last week.
Officers found two of the individuals inside, while another was found in a vehicle outside.
One of the suspects allegedly told police their plan to take copper from the remains of the school.
Lincoln Elementary was declared a total loss following the June fire, and MPS is looking for a contractor to demolish the remains.
