
Froedtert ThedaCare is celebrating after four of its hospitals received high praise in a recent report.
U.S. News & World Report recently released its 2026-2027 Best Hospitals ratings, the highest distinction hospitals and clinical specialties can earn from the organization.
ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton ranked as High Performing in Colon Cancer Surgery, Hip and Knee Replacement, while Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital ranked as High Performing in Prostate Cancer Surgery and Pneumonia.
The big winner was Froedtert Hospital, which was ranked #1 in Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Metro Area, Rehabilitation and in Milwaukee Metro Area, Cancer.
Ian Schwartz, MD, chief clinical officer, Froedtert ThedaCare, and senior associate dean, Medical College of Wisconsin, said of the honors, “These recognitions reflect the everyday commitment to safety and quality that defines how we care for those we are privileged to serve.”
Locally, Aurora Medical Center earned a High Performing grade for Procedure/Condition, while Froedtert Holy Family Memorial received four out of five stars, with it being noted that “90% of patients at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital are willing to recommend this hospital to others.”
