For the first time in over a month, Eastern Wisconsin motorists are getting a bit of relief at the pump.
The average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel fell eight cents in Manitowoc County since this time last week, as reported on the AAA Gas Prices website.
The county average is now at $3.90, which is 61 cents lower than the peak experienced in the middle of May and $1.43 higher than the five-year lows experienced in mid-January.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan County’s average is four cents lower at $3.88, while Calumet County saw a dip of three cents to $3.94.
Outagamie County reported a minimal 1 penny drop to $3.86, while Brown County’s average is down a nickel to $3.88.
Kewaunee County had the second largest change, a nine-cent dip to $3.86, while Door County had the largest change, a 15-cent drop to $3.82, which is the fifth lowest of any county in Wisconsin.
The state average is also down four cents to $3.88, while the national average dipped five cents to $4.03.
