The last man charged in the largest fentanyl pill seizure in Manitowoc County history has been sentenced.
28-year-old Jose Gamez appeared before Judge Jerylin Dietz yesterday, where he was ordered to spend 6 years in prison followed by 6 years on extended supervision after being found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a felony charge of Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Deliver as Party to the Crime.
Gamez was arrested alongside Trevor and Dylan Hock in January of 2025 thanks to a joint effort by the Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit, the DEA’s Green Bay Resident Office, the Sheboygan Drug Task Force, and Wisconsin State Patrol.
The trio was found with 43.2 pounds of fentanyl pills, worth an estimated $5.8 million.
This is also believed to be the largest seizure of its kind in state history.
Trevor Hock was previously sentenced to 15 years in prison, while Dylan Hock was ordered to spend 10 years in prison.
