A new exhibit at Manitowoc’s Lincoln Park Zoo will be officially recognized next week.
The Chamber of Manitowoc County will host a ribbon-cutting for the new Coastal Wetland Aviary.
The zoo says it’s been a long time since a new exhibit was added, and they are so excited to celebrate the momentous occasion.
The official ribbon-cutting takes place at 4:00 p.m. on August 18th at the new aviary, with refreshments being served from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. courtesy of the Lincoln Park Zoological Society.
The group calls the aviary not only an exhibit, but an immersive experience into the natural world.
The exhibit is open-air, meaning everything on display will be wild birds traveling through the area.
