A Kiel business is looking to allow RVs to stay overnight in their lot.
On their city council agenda, the city council could take possible action on a conditional use permit allowing Yard 65 Restaurant and Brewery to participate in the Harvest Host program, which would allow short-term overnight parking.
Overnight stays would be limited to one or two nights and would only happen at the owner’s discretion.
Only two RVs would be allowed in Yard 65’s parking lot at a time.
City documents from the City of Kiel say staff expects the CUP would not create significant impacts on neighboring properties, traffic circulation, public utilities, or other municipal services.
Harvest Host is a company that allows RVers the chance to stay overnight at wineries, farms, breweries, and museums via membership.
Kiel City Council will meet tomorrow night in council chambers.
