A man is facing a homicide charge following a deadly shooting on Madison’s north side.
Police say Ben Washington was arrested early yesterday morning in connection with Saturday night’s shooting near Troy Drive.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Washington contacted authorities while investigators were working to obtain a warrant, admitting to the shooting before he was taken into custody.
He was booked into the Dane County Jail on a homicide charge.
